Government grants, United Ways, and foundations play an important
part in supporting the work of Project
Response. But without your help, we will fall short of having
the financial resources we need to give our
clients the help they need.
Each year Project Response is able to help hundreds of clients
with emergency financial assistance for
eyeglasses, car and home repairs, basic furnishings and appliances,
and rent and utility expenses that
cannot be paid through our other programs.
Some of the clients we assist have disability incomes of $637
per month. Some have no income at all.
For clients in these circumstances, there is no “rolling
with the punches” when faced with unexpected
expenses. Any extra burden is a crisis.
